SSL Quick Check is developed and published by Alegros Tech LTD, a software studio based in Bicester, United Kingdom. Alegros Tech builds websites, mobile apps, hosting and IT services for businesses. This policy explains how the SSL Quick Check app handles data. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy.
02What the app does
SSL Quick Check lets you add website domains and inspect their SSL/TLS certificates — expiry date, issuer, chain, protocol and related details — directly on your device. To do this, the app opens a TLS connection to the domains you add, solely to read their public certificate. No personal information is transmitted, and nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
03Data we collect
None. We do not collect analytics, usage data, device identifiers, or personal information. The app has no accounts and requires no sign-in.
04Data stored on your device
The list of domains you add, their optional labels/tags, and the last cached check result are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device except as part of the TLS connection you initiate to check a certificate. Uninstalling the app removes all of this data.
05Permissions
- Internet / network access — to connect to the domains you add and read their certificates.
- Notifications — to remind you before a certificate expires. All processing happens on-device.
06Advertising and tracking
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking SDKs, and does not use an Advertising ID.
07Children
The app is a general-purpose technical utility and is not directed at children.
08Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. We recommend checking this page periodically.
